Google reCAPTCHA
We use the Google reCAPTCHA service, which protects our website from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA prevents automated software (so-called bots) from carrying out abusive activities on the website, i.e. it checks whether the entries made actually come from a human being. In order to determine this, the following data is collected and processed:
- referrer (address of the page on which the captcha is used)
- IP address of the user
- Google account (if the user is signed in to Google, this will be recognized and assigned)
- the input behavior of the user (e.g. answering the reCAPTCHA question, input speed in the form fields, order of selection of the input fields by the user) is used to improve pattern recognition at Google. Browser, browser size and resolution, browser plugins, date, language setting
- presentation instructions (CSS) and scripts (Javascript) of the website
- mouse or touch events within the page
Google also reads cookies from other Google services such as Gmail, Search and Analytics. All of the above data is sent to Google in encrypted form. Google's subsequent evaluation decides in which form the captcha is displayed on the page - in the form of a checkbox or by entering text. No personal data is read out or saved from the input fields of the respective form.

Payment Method: Data protection provisions about the use of PayPal as a payment processor
AudioVero e.K. offers the opportunity to pay by PayPal. PayPal is an online payment service provider. Payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual private or business accounts. PayPal is also able to process virtual payments through credit cards when a user does not have a PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an e-mail address, which is why there are no classic account numbers. PayPal makes it possible to trigger online payments to third parties or to receive payments. PayPal also accepts trustee functions and offers buyer protection services.
The European operating company of PayPal is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
If the data subject chooses "PayPal" as the payment option, we automatically transmit the data of the data subject to PayPal. By selecting this payment option, the data subject agrees to the transfer of personal data required for payment processing.
The personal data transmitted to PayPal is usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, or other data necessary for payment processing. The processing of the purchase contract also requires such personal data, which are in connection with the respective order.
The transmission of the data is aimed at payment processing and fraud prevention. The controller will transfer personal data to PayPal, in particular, if a legitimate interest in the transmission is given. The personal data exchanged between PayPal and the controller for the processing of the data will be transmitted by PayPal to economic credit agencies. This transmission is intended for identity and creditworthiness checks.
PayPal will, if necessary, pass on personal data to affiliates and service providers or subcontractors to the extent that this is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations or for data to be processed in the order.
The data subject has the possibility to revoke consent for the handling of personal data at any time from PayPal. A revocation shall not have any effect on personal data which must be processed, used or transmitted in accordance with (contractual) payment processing.
The applicable data protection provisions of PayPal may be retrieved under https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
Duration of storage and deletion or blocking of data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as provided for in the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose or expiry of these periods, the corresponding data will be deleted or blocked routinely and in accordance with legal regulations. In the case of blocking, the deletion takes place as soon as there are no legal, statutory or contractual retention periods to the contrary, there is no reason to assume that deletion impairs your interests worthy of protection and deletion does not cause disproportionately high costs due to the special type of storage.
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to correct, block or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, delete your personal data. Please contact our data protection officer. The contact details can be found above.
To ensure that data can be locked at any time, the data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, as far as no legal archiving obligation exists. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request.
You can make changes or withdraw your consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.
Changes to our data protection regulations
We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply for your next visit.
