====== Addition ====== {{:bilder_funktionen:td_addition.png?nolink&}} \\ **Description:** \\ Adds selected curves sample by sample into a new curve \\ **Options:** \\ - \\ **Application:** \\ It is e.g. possible to add the pulse responses of digital crossovers and to view the frequency response of the crossover sum \\ **Example:** \\ \\ {{:bilder_funktionen:funkt_bsp_addition_01.png?nolink&}}\\ \\ The crossover of a 3-way system is designed by using Neville-Thiele crossovers. The addition of the three XOs results in a perfect linear behaviour of the frequency response. (For a better visualization the sum is raised by 2 dB, see //[[:en:wiki:funktionen:td-functions:gain|TD Functions > Gain. ]]//Otherwise the curves will overlap)\\ \\ \\ {{:bilder_funktionen:funkt_bsp_addition_02.png?nolink&}}\\ \\ The 3-way crossover is designed as Linkwitz XO for bass and midrange driver, the tweeter XO is defined by a Neville-Thiele XO. The sum of the 3 XOs shows a dip and a peak in the frequency response. To allow these crossovers to add perfectly the sum can be used for a [[:en:wiki:anhang:anleitungen:linearisierung_von_frequenzweichen|Linearisation of digital crossovers]].
